What are these beautiful, dark leafy plants growing next to my winter choy? I thought they were all winter choy, but I’m having second thoughts. First pic is the mystery plant, 2nd is the winter choy, and third is them together.

Definitely some other similar brassica, maybe komatsuna, mustard spinach, yu choy… whatever it is it’s probably tasty. Enjoy

Hmmm brassica… looks kinda on the soft/supple side? If it was collard or cabbage I think it would be waxier at this stage. Maybe Chinese “kale” which is really a type of brocolli?

My guess is mustard spinach.

Maybe Tatsoi.

The second one kind of looks like tatsoi to me. My plant ID app says the first one is Chinese cabbage.
