    * Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
    * Prepare your cake mold by generously greasing it with butter and a light dusting of flour. Tap out any excess.
    * In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, a pinch of salt, granulated sugar, and optionally, a teaspoon of vanilla extract for a delightful twist. Whisk until the mixture is smooth and harmonious.
    * Gradually pour in the 2/3 cup of vegetable oil while continuing to whisk. This ensures a smooth integration of the oil with the other ingredients.
    * Add the freshly squeezed orange juice and the zest of one orange to the mixture, giving it a vibrant citrus kick. Stir to blend everything.
