First time I went to a Michelin starred restaurant where they had various courses
The start was incredible – super zesty, fresh and interesting flavours. The main a French quail was a bit too intense and rich to end with IMO
Nonetheless walked out of there feeling incredibly stuffed – almost tooooo stuffed
Favourite: the Norwegian Langoustine and mushrooms reminded me of Liguria (home) in autumn, a mix of hills and seaside
Least favourite: quail with saffron
Weird one was the Bloody Mary / celery / finger lime (it’s the super green one) which looked a bit like Big Mac sauce underneath and had three pickles which was then topped by a celery granita – should have asked the chef it it was slightly inspired by big Mac sauce haha
Wish I had taken the photo of the thing under the green granita
Nonetheless super experience
Didn’t do wine pairing – but had 3 glasses of wine
Only thing I don’t get is do you always get this stuffed out of a set course meal ??
It was almost uncomfortable by the time I went to bed and still feeling stuffed now

It depends, I think feeling just satisfied is good. But sometimes I do degustations and don’t limit the bread intake of course I’m gonna be stuffed. Lerouy is decent, should try Odette next time
