So excited to use my All American canner. Plus I got a great box. Any tips or suggestions before I use it would be appreciated Thank you

Read the manual twice :-). And congrats! My older 921 is well over 40 years old and has processed over 20 thousand quarts. The new one is not even a year old, and we are at 280 quarts, 36 pints and 2 dozen half pints lol.
Other tip: buy a second weight. Duct tape to a cabinet, fridge or wherever. Somehow I have managed to lose 3 weights in my life.
Store your in use weight in canner between uses. I also put my tools and a set of seven rings in there between uses. And lids. So basically when it comes out for use everything is right there.

Love my All American! I have had the 921 since 2020 and it’s an absolute tank. Read and understand the instructions. Particularly around how the weight should act/sound when you’ve got the temp right. Figure out a consistent way to clean it. They’re big so you may need to work around your sink to get it done.

Is this the 930?

Vaseline the lip of the lid your first several uses. It helps to keep the lid from sticking and eventually you won’t have to do it

Ya that’s nice, but can it flash fry a buffalo in 40 seconds?

Vaseline is crucial.

Before each use put a thin coat of Vaseline on the sealing surface, and the knobs only have to be finger tip tight, don’t gorilla them down, the sealing surfaces are an interference fit, the lid and the pot are machined at slightly different angles

Congrats on the all american canner! Hopefully it’ll be an heirloom item and inspire canning in future generations! I went too big and got the 941 and it’s too tall for my stove. So I have to can outside until I move. I should’ve measured 😂
