I want to start canning I bought jars a utensil set and a silicone canning rack. I have this pot I got at an estate sale and I’m hoping it will work but I don’t want to try it without asking first

Water bathing – ensure that your jars are submerged completely and covered with at least 1 inch of water. This will help you identify what size jar maximum you can use in the pot. Also, the bottom will need a rack or washcloths so the bottoms of the jars are not touching the bottom of the pot. Hope this helps.
