I’ve been thinking about restoring my performer, this looks amazing!

  2. Okay looks great- now fire it up and throw some meat on it!

I have the exact same model year and color. What is your restoration process cause I need to do this. Thanks!

What a great looking grill! However I am biased. I restored my performer(bought 1999) three years ago. The same color. I took off the gas assist(parts stored). I kept the old ash catcher(wonder if the Venom Spyder will fit the old Performers?). Also I used a grill cover from Grillstuff. Cover is showing no aging or cracking. Best grill I have owned and is still my number one grill.

Beautiful. I have the same Performer, 1995 date code.

What all was replaced vs restored? It looks factory new, so just wondering how durable the hard parts and finish on these is if I went FB Marketplace diving.
