Really great time here, I was very impressed. This might be controversial but I had Atomix for the first time last month and I enjoyed the food at Bōm slightly more. There’s only 1 menu at $325 excluding gratuity.

Food: First half of the menu focused on seafood while second focused on beef. Everything was delicious but some standouts were the first 4 initial amuse bouche, sablefish, all the beef courses and desserts. There were definitely pronounced Korean flavors here in most of the dishes. I think I enjoyed the food slightly more than Atomix because they were more meat-centric, which is a personal preference.

Service: Standard Michelin level, everyone is friendly and in sync. Meal was long at around 2 hours and 30 minutes, but it went smoothly.

Vibe: Restaurant is in the back of Oiji Mi (another 1 star), rectangular counter seating for about 20 guests. Room has high ceilings and feels spacious. It felt upscale but not over the top in luxury.

Summary: This is a great restaurant executing at a high level. With consistency, they should easily get 2 stars next year. Not cheap at $325 but I think it’s worth it for a special occasion if your focus is on food and don’t require extravagant service and decor at that price point.
