Ingredients (8 donuts)
190 g milk, 7 g instant dry yeast
35g sugar, 7g salt
1 egg
350 g Bread flour
Butter butter 40g

Sugar for topping

tip
Milk, eggs: use cold in summer
Milk, eggs: room temperature in winter

Fry while maintaining the oil temperature at 180°C (356°F).
Never increase the oil temperature too much.
After cooling, add sugar to prevent the sugar from melting.
After making a ring shape, collect the scraps and make one donut.

  4. hi what if the temperature in the kitchen was 4 degrees since it is now winter here in New Zealand, what will I have to do when I need to ferment my dough?.. will it rise successfully? aside from that, I will be kneading in our kitchen which has a cold temperature too… pls guide me what is the best thing to do. thank you

  5. If i double the recept do I need to double the gist also? Do i have to use 14 gram of gist instead? Or is 7 gram enough for a double recept?

  6. I've try this recipe today & it was the BEST recipes that I ever try !!!. I ran out of the bread flour so I'm just using the all purpose flour & I add a bit of bread softener/improver. I believe that it will still turn out great if you only using the APF
