Honey Roast Carrots and Parsnips

500g x Carrots
500g x Parsnips
1-2 Tbsp x Olive Oil
Pinch of Salt & Black Pepper
2 Tbsp x Runny Honey

1. Peel and cut both the carrots and parsnips in half. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Give them a mix so they are fully coated.

2. Place them onto a baking tray and roast for 40 minutes turning them once, halfway through the cooking time.

3. After 40 minutes, remove from the oven and drizzle with the honey. Place them back into the oven and cook for a further 5 minutes.

Here’s how to make very simple but delicious honey roast carrots and parsn begin by taking 500 G of carrots and 500 G of parsnips and then we’re just going to peel them leaving the tops on we’re then going to cut them in half lengthways depending on the size of them

You might want to cut them into quarters and also if they’re a little bit Woody in the center you might want to just remove that core but that is entirely up to you and then I’m just going to drizzle them with some olive oil and season with salt and pepper I’m just

Going to mix them all together now just so they’re nicely coated and then I’m lay them back out just again making sure they’re not overcrowded and there’s some space between each one the carrots now need to go into the oven at 180° C for 40 minutes turning them halfway through

The cooking time after 40 minutes take them from the oven and then drizzle them with roughly around 2 tablespoons of runny honey and then place them back into the oven for five more minutes pile them up onto a plate and that’s your honey roast carrots and
