It doesn’t appear to be a canning recipe, but I would reach out to the OSU extension and ask them if this can be safely canned since the recipe is from them and they are there to answer questions like this anyway!

Like another commenter said, ask OSU. Generally nuts aren’t able to be canned at home except in specific tested recipes. If it were safe to be canned based on OSU’s advice, it would def have to be pressure canned due to all the low acid ingredients like the chicken

I can’t offer any advice on canning it but it freezes well. I make this soup often & it is delicious. Mix some coconut milk in twords the end for extra richness & ground turkey in place of chicken works well.

If it had been tested for safe canning… OSU would have included canning instructions. This is for the freezer.
