The taste on these are pretty subtle, still not quite as easy to eat as sardines though. On the other hand, I’m really into the texture! Meaty and not rubbery. Really fun to eat. I had this with pickled onion and an avocado lime sauce and also tried cholula hot sauce. I wouldn’t eat the calamari by itself, but it really pairs with crackers and sauces

Solid chunks.
I love seared octopus from a restaurant. I bought a of matiz on a whim and oh good lord was it *GOOD*. Solid but succulent, just amazing.
