I’ve been in a program for a few months now to help me lose weight, and I was prescribed the Mediterranean diet. I immediately started changing my diet but I hadn’t been sticking to the principles of this lifestyle 100%. Recently I decided I would go completely vegetarian to help achieve my goal of near 100% adherence, so here’s some food I’ve had today.
For dinner I had a whole grain pita with zucchini, Roma tomato, romaine lettuce, everything season hummus, and basil pesto.
For lunch I had the same pita but without the veggies, subbing with a couple sticks of cheese, with a banana and chobani zero sugar greek yogurt drink.
For breakfast I had a bowl of whole grain instant oatmeal, blueberries, and honey, with a banana and kombucha on the side.
Any suggestions/feedback?
