Wasn’t nearly as daunting as I thought it would be. 8 pints and 6 quarts of chicken stock. Hopefully the seals stuck the landing and will be tight when I check tomorrow! The worst part was sitting and watching the dial periodically so it didn’t get under the necessary amount of pressure.
A question about the bands after canning though- a couple were loose after I pulled them out. Is that normal? All the linds pinged and the seal pop thing is down. Am I not fingertip tightening enough? Only a couple were loose, the rest were on there nicely.
