Moldy pizza was actually served at an Arkansas high school yesterday. Yes, the health department has been notified

What is this “pizza” that can get so moldy? We’ve all seen pizza sitting on the counter or in the fridge for questionable lengths of time and it wasn’t this bad.

Got a sandwich at my cafeteria and opened the foil to see half the top bun was blue. When i tried to return it, the lunch lady said “its just a part of the bun” and i said “lady, that is mold” she refused to refund me or get me another food item. I had to go to the front office and request to speak to the principle… it was like a scene out of a sitcom. Principle came out and looked at the front desk flabbergasted, calls me back. Sits me down and says “ok so why are you here?” And i said “because the lunch lady served me a moldy sandwich and wont help me get a refund or more food”…. To which he replied “all this for a stupid sandwich?”. I walked out of his office and started heading back to the cafeteria. When i walked past a school resource officer, i heard over the radio the principle say “can someone get that kid a stupid sandwich”.

No way that was an “accident”. When you handle food you fucking notice when it’s bad. They just didn’t care.

being from Jersey this is what i expect pizza to look like in every state in the middle of the country.

Our elem school pizzas are cooked from frozen. This in the OP is dreadful

Did they not even look at the pizza before cooking? How does this even happen

With what I know from what my partner told me about living in the south, I wonder what percent of the school populous is African-American

I don’t even understand how this could happen. Did it sit under a heat lamp through the weekend or something? Wtf?

It’s Arkansas, so good luck getting the health department to do anything real, especially with how poorly it is staffed and funded.

How the hell were these warmed up without smelling noxious as hell? Were the boxes kept closed throughout the entire process of taking them out, putting them in the oven (were they even warm?!), and then taking them to the line? Do the lunch people not give a fuck that hard?? Are they literally depressed and going through the motions, because I’d be personally disgusted just even having to handle them!

Like has anyone ever warmed up some nasty, moldy food by mistake? Does it have a terrible, sickening smell?

Arkansas is a third world country. Source: from there.

The one on the right, particularly, looks likely an asset out of The Last of Us II 🤢🤮
