Classic and pretzel croissants from this morning. I had a specific size for my dough in mind and thus couldn’t trim as much as I usually do.
This usually results in a dense core because the lamination isn’t as good.
Unless you cut it open, you wouldn’t notice.
Just here to say this is a common issue but it gets rarely shared 😉

Btw I brushed the pretzel croissants which isn’t ideal as you can see in the uneven coloring. But the croissants were too large for my dipping bowl 🥲

I’ve never been game to try making croissants. Maybe i should give them a go
