I need help before I use these to make pepper jelly. My labels got wiped off when I planted seeds, so just figured I would know which pepper it was when it grew. Ordered some seeds off Etsy and have no clue which ones actually germinated. I know I had ghost and Carolina Reaper, along with some I had never heard of before (maybe hybrids?). I’ve grown ghost peppers in the past, but don’t remember them having such pointy bottoms. Can anyone help? Two different harvests (one in December and one last week). Growing in greenhouse with small heater (now), but summers get really hot (Texas), so didn’t know if the heat could have distorted growth and change usual shape.

My ghosts look like that. My reapers are chubbier and the tail is coming out of a larger mass, while the ghosts have more of a gradual diameter decrease to a tail.
That said, depending on your seeds, hybrids happen, could be neither.
Eat one. I can tell them apart (ghosts are tolerable-ish, reapers are overwhelming).
Those definitely aren’t reapers. They look more like ghost peppers.
Thank you both!
