Great find here, I’m definitely going to post more recipes from this book. But I had to share this absolute masterpiece. The book looks pretty typical, with some good artwork and everyone getting credit for their recipes. But then you get to “picnic fries” and the wheels come off in the best way. Enjoy.

I posted the carrot soup recipe because I thought it was interesting and to show that the whole book isn’t like the picnic fries recipe.
Lol I was cackling at the picnic fries recipe. It looks like it could’ve been written by my stepdad 😂 I remember him making bacon while we were camping once with another family and the mom got freaked out that a bug landed on a piece of bacon. My stepdad was so proud when I huffed, rolled my eyes, and flicked the bug off before eating the bacon 🤣
