My girlfriend and I got a whole box of meal prep containers from her sister that she wasn’t using! I’ve started small because I’m busy. I’m used to cooking for myself so most of this I kind of eyeballed it and winged it and it’s turned out delicious so far. The meal preps I’ve done are:
A dozen breakfast burritos (spinach & whole wheat wraps, Jimmy Dean breakfast sausage, bacon &cheese scrambled eggs, shredded cheese, lime avocado sauce)
Burrito bowl with baked chicken & veg (chicken breasts, rice, beans, onion, shredded cheese, baked zucchini, canned corn, lime, cilantro)
Chicken dinner (a pre made rotisserie chicken, home made mashed potatoes & chicken gravy, broccoli & mixed veg, and an impulse buy pumpkin pie that was on clearance for $2.40)
Egg salad snack (a dozen hard boiled eggs, lite mayo, chopped green onion & celery, jar of dill relish, ranch, mustard, spices, whole wheat and white pita breads for dipping)
When I make these I put about 4 in the fridge and the rest on the freezer (aka a tote on the back porch bc I live in alaska and it won’t get above freezing for about another 4 months)

Inspiring ! Good for you and your meal prep journey. This is a great assortment you’ve made.

This is great but omg the pumpkin pie next to the veggies is making me very uncomfortable

Alaska too that’s got to be rough this time of year!
Can you get fresh cabbage? That’s my favorite cheap winter veg go to, could do a cabbage slaw with burrito bowls or [this rice and cabbage soup is insane](https://food52.com/recipes/27213-marcella-hazan-s-rice-smothered-cabbage-soup) i add in some white beans or chickpeas it’s a great cheap filling option and extras freeze well
Pie and veggies are a little too cozy for me haha
PLEASE i need tips 🙏 i want this to be me 🥹
