Hey Lifestyle Family! Welcome to my 2024 Healthy Meal Prep Series!!! WOOT WOOT!! Time for the fun to begin!
This week I whipped up a few of my favorite go-to meal preps including this quick and easy on the go Ground Turkey & Rice Meal Prep Bowls.
This particular meal prep took me less than 15-20 minutes to cook with a prep time of 10 minutes.
The ingredients are very affordable and easy to find. To be honest, I recommend being creative and utilizing items you may have laying around in your pantry!
Meal prepping can be fun, adventurous and appealing once you get the hang of it, like I did a few years ago. Now, it comes with ease and comfort.
Join me as I show you all how to make this 15-20 minute meal prep with about 5 servings in total for 5 days! Portion control is key when it comes down to a healthy meal prep.

Ingredient List:
2 Large Crowns, Broccoli
Salt and pepper to taste

Ground Turkey & Rice:
2-3 cups, cooked brown rice
1.5/2 Lb Lean Ground Turkey
1/2 red bell peppers, diced
1 green bell pepper, diced
1/2 onion, diced (opt)
2 tbsp, Garlic powder
1 tbsp, onion powder
2 tsps, chili powder
1 tsp, ground dried thyme
Salt and pepper to taste( or a low sodium all-purpose seasoning)

Hey everyone welcome to my channel chesa’s lifestyle let’s cook ground turkey and rice mil prep Bowls when I meal prep and cook in general I always start by prepping everything first it makes the process faster and smoother as I am cooking with flow I really love using fresh ingredients like broccoli because you know exactly what you’re putting into your body some may use products like

Frozen ingredients but I believe you won’t get the same flow of nutrients as you would if you’re using more so fresh produce now I know broccoli can cause gas but let me put y’all on to why I love using healthy greens like broccoli so a few facts state that broccoli is a

Remarkable vegetable packed with numerous health benefits that make it a viable addition to any diet with its high concentration of antioxidants broccoli can reduce inflammation improve blood sugar control and boost immunity broccoli can also promote heart health this nutrient dened superfood is an excellent source of fiber vitamin C

Vitamin K iron and potassium consuming broccoli can help lower cholesterol levels maintain proper blood pressure and promote cardiovascular health the high content of vitamin A and antioxidants found in broccoli can also promote Eye Health potentially reducing the risk of age related mucular degeneration and cataract furthermore broccoli low calorie count

Combined with its high nutrient content makes it an ideal food for weight loss its high fiber content can Aid digestion and help you feel full or for more extended periods of time leading to less snacking and smaller portion sizes I like to sometimes steam my broccoli

Season with a light amount of salt and pepper maybe a little bit of garlic powder and onion powder and simple as that and it’s done within a few Minutes I recommend using bell peppers onions and even garlic when it comes to mil prep because of the additional flavor it brings out in the dish I know some may not like all that but trust me it’s amazing I won’t steer you wrong I cook these vegetables until

They’re pretty soft and translucent I love that Browning flavor that they give when it’s caramelized M so good I also recommend using protein like ground turkey which is cleaner lighter and still full of flavor when incorporating the right seasonings ground turkey can become fully cooked in roughly about 8

To 9 minutes that’s another reason why I like to use ground turkey lean ground beef is also an option but I’d say it produces a lot more fat content research shows the effect beef has on the body when it comes to digesting it having it in moderation is fine I believe but for

Meal preps every day I personally don’t want to do that to my Body when cooking with ground turkey I like to use a lot of dehydrated vegetables like garlic powder onion powder maybe a chili powder sometimes Salt and Pepper or an all-purpose seasoning I also like to go in with different oils like grape seed oil or avocado oil more so on the healthier

Side so that’s what I personally recommend and then I just cook that until everything is fully covered and the ground turkey is fully Cooked once everything is fully cooked and well seasoned I went ahead and add some brown rice now personally I prefer brown rice when it comes to either weight loss or just in general eating healthier um sometimes I do eat white rice sometimes I do eat pasta um mainly on days like

The weekend um but during the week when I am maal prepping cuz I don’t meal prep all the time anymore I like to do I like to add healthier carbs like the brown rice so I added about 2 cups of that and as you can see it made it very full and

  3. You won't get the full benefit of broccoli, without mustard powder. Check that out okay do the research. One more thing, when you cut up the broccoli it should sit for awhile before cooking.
