I bought these meat about three days ago and opened the packaging to see these small bumps on it, the meat smells fine but I’m not sure what to think.
I want to add that these dots are not everywhere on the steak.

Is it meant to be preseasoned? It almost looks like salt when it’s immediately applied but after that amount of time it should be dissolved

Singing. From where the cryovac was heated to form around the meat. Sometimes it burns the meat. That meat looks to be machine cut. Only a real meat cutter that cut meat could trim the singe off before cutting it for sell. Don’t buy machine cut beef.
