Full blooded Sicilian Italian here – the MD feels like home! After studying the health benefits and choices, I realized I already eat MD style for breakfast and lunch. Dinner – well, that’s another story. This last month, we’ve been MDing it about 5 nights a week. Here is my ‘what’s in the house’ dinner bowl: greens with light balsamic vinegar drizzle, quinoa, cucumber and tomatoes, chickpeas, avocado, roasted sweet potatoes, onion/pepper medley, wheat pita. Filling, yummy, perfect. Slap Ya Mama seasoning ready, but not needed – dinner was just so good! I did mix it all together – yum. I’m learning how to replace my dinner meals. Thank you all for the inspiration!
