There was recent discussion about being unable to measure headspace without a ruler or debubbler. I just thought I’d share this photo.

Oh boy my hobbies crossed over. I was thinking to myself “who in their right mind would measure headspace of a rifle cartridge with a ruler” when I noticed it’s canning…. Not reloading.
Hope this gives someone else a chuckle as well.

I also use my jars as measuring cups sometimes. The full jar capacity for size (half pint, pint, quart, etc) is at the 1″ mark in this picture, not the top of the jar. That small line under the jar rim is the measurement mark.
