I’ve got a friend in town, and not much time to cook. And random leftovers from takeout. Here are a few things I cobbled.

1. Grilled chicken with hot sauce, broccolini, a bulgur salad with scallions/almonds/raisins/preserved lemons. Leftover tomatoes. This came from the deli.

2. We had lots of leftover rice and beans from a takeout dinner. So for breakfast it was rice, beans, a fried egg, and leftover broccolini (and an orange not pictured).

3. Not pictured: leftover ramen with a boiled egg and shredded kale to boost the veggies.

A bit of white flour and white rice. But also legumes and veggies.

I do like rice and beans for breakfast and it is a new learning for me.
