Special occasion meal at Hestons. The tipsy cake was incredible, buttery, custardy brioche in a rich and sweet sauce. The type of dish you crave forevermore afterwards.

  1. Ironic observation: The meat fruit is essentially the same chicken/foie parfait recipe Marco Pierre White served in the same hotel thirty years ago, just slightly gussied up.

    Has anyone tried both the plum and the classic orange versions of the meat fruit? I’ve only tried the latter but it was the best parfait I’ve ever had. 

    It is tragic (1st world problems) that they no longer offer the meat fruit as part of the set lunch menu anymore.
