I’ve been researching the Med Diet for a few weeks and have slowly been transitioning to this way of eating and lifestyle. This has been my breakfast for the last couple days. Whole wheat sourdough, one with mixed greens, smashed chickpeas with a little mustard and avocado oil mayo (I know not totally compliant) and cucumbers on top, the other with peanut butter made just of peanuts and salt and smashed raspberries with a little raw honey on top (it’s a tad crystallized – if anyone knows how to avoid that please let me know). and a delicious cutie because they are in season and it’s full of vitamin c. And a nice cup of coffee with some honey and almond milk. This is so satiating, guilt free and I feel better than ever transitioning into this way of life.

  1. Where do you get your wholewheat sourdough from? Also, I believe that the avocado oil mayo isn’t an issue in terms of compliance. Looks yummy

I never would have thought about mixing chickpeas and mustard. I might have to try that.

Before reading your description, I thought the one with the cukes on top was a stuffed green pepper, not bread.

I agree about cuties – they’re so great!
