– Ching’s secret hot and sour soup mix (1.94 oz or 55 g) – Water – 1/2 cup of frozen vegetables (carrots, green bellpepper, spring onion, etc.) – Salt to taste – Pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. In a pan, Add 4 cups of water (600 ml), now add the Ching’s secret hot and sour soup mix and whisk it. Make sure there are no lumps.
2. Turn on the heat/gas
3. The dehydrated veggies are comparatively less so add 1/2 cup frozen vegetables (green bell peppers, spring onion, carrot) which will give a nice texture.
4. Let the soup simmer for approx 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
In some recipes hot water is directly added to the mix. But Simmering the soup is essential for flavor development, ingredient softening, achieving the right consistency, and seasoning adjustment. It enhances the overall quality of the soup compared to simply adding hot water.
5. Pour the hot Ching’s Secret hot and sour Soup into bowls and garnish with some chopped spring onions or fresh cilantro if you like.
