Harvard professor Frank Hu is one of the world’s leading authorities on the Mediterranean diet. But the diet he follows himself is a fusion of the Mediterranean diet and traditional Asian diet. He says this way of eating may be more beneficial to more people than the Mediterranean diet alone – and he’s got studies to back this up. Very interesting reading!

I need him to just tell me what to eat and give me a list. I don’t need to read his article to believe him. 😂
I view the Mediterranean diet as more of a blueprint anyways:
1. lots of legumes
2. regular fish consumption
3. main fat is olive oil
4. loads of vegetables
5. mainly whole grains
6. very little red meat
7. a Limited amount of dairy
This was shown in the 7 nations study decades ago – that some traditional Asian diets were even better. I think even Keys acknowledged it. He just thought med was easier to transition to. I’m already doing it with the Okinawan sweet potato.
