Anyone have experience with these? Do they work? Are they food storage safe?

They are only safe for dry food storage at room temperature. The pictures are very misleading. The idea of these is to keep pasta, cereal, beans, etc. fresher for longer. I have one and I’ve used it a couple times but mostly it just sits in my cupboard. I’ve heard some people use these for storing things like jams longer in the fridge but I haven’t really looked into that at all.

To be clear, these are not for canning. Just because something is stored in a jar, doesn’t mean it’s canned. Just don’t want anyone to be mislead by this. Canning is not just sealing things in jars. Canning is heating the jar through properly using water bath or pressure canning you kill any potential spoilers and seal it and render it safe for room temperature storage.
