Had a chance to go atomix this weekend.
Two banchan consisting of fish on seaweed and uni on potato tart.
-Caviar and blue fin tuna on potato bugak 8/10
-Scallop with mushroom sauce 8/10
-Langoustine with fermented rice sauce 8/10
-Silkie chicken with abalone, octopus and tendon 9/10
-Rockfish with beef chunri-jang, squid and shrimp 8/10
-Tilefish 7.5/10
-Conger eel 8/10
-Jukyeom galbi with gosari rice 9/10
-Korean pear shaved ice 7/10
-Goguma ice cream with black truffles 9.7/10
Overall the service was good and the counter seating was meaningless as chef JP isn’t there that often and non of the food is cooked or prepped in front of you.
The food I felt was decent although they tended to shy away from stronger flavours that are more typical in Korean cuisine. The goguma ice cream with black truffles was one of the best dessert I’ve ever had.

Some of those look delicious, others look underwhelming. This is just my preference, of course, but fish that looks boiled swimming in a water-thin soup/broth will never be visually appealing to me.
Glad you enjoyed parts of it, that ice cream looks interesting. I am quite surprised at the amount of black truffle there, was it not overpowering?
