This was our first time at Addison. Impeccable service, good not great food, and the most money I’ve paid for a Michelin star restaurant.

    1. Tepache. Nice refreshing fermented pineapple drink

    2. Oyster, horse radish, smoked roe and green apple

    3. Snacks – sake cure kanpachi, garden greens, wagyu tartare with squid ink rice cracker, chicken liver churro with chocolate, iberico ham/black truffle
This was probably the favorite of the night

    4. Kanpachi sashimi rose – good flavors, bright ponzu taste

    5. Shellfish chawanmushi – it was good. N/naka did better

    6. Eggs and rice – signature dish. Hard to go wrong with caviar but at the end of the day this is rice, sabanyan, and caviar basically. It was good, not mind blowing.

    7. Fish and chips – disappointing course.

    8. Splendid Alfonsino – had much better at Aubergine and N/naka

    9. Sourdough bread – this stayed on the table through the rest of the courses. Very good sour dough but we only got through half of it

    10. Rosemary roasted sweetbreads – couldn’t finish it. This is a pine nut risotto and too much truffle. The combination of the three almost made me puke because it was so heavy and dry. Each bite left my mouth dry

    11. Olive fed A5 wagyu. Star of the night, very, very good. Cooked perfectly

    12 – 15 desserts. Nothing memorable

After a luxury meal upgrade and 4 cocktails we spent $2111 before tip.

The luxury meal upgrade also excluded some standard menu dishes that the server didn’t tell us about so we ended up missing the Tom Kha that I’ve heard people rave about. I was so disappointed about that.
