Realized today that I never shared one of my secret weapons. I used to use the cardboard flats the jars came in, but never felt comfortable toting around even a few full jars in cardboard.

Moving them two at a time is annoying. And if you stock your pantry deep, getting to that jar in the back is Tetris.

Best solution I’ve found yet. Milk crate and a jigsaw. Voilà – heavy duty canning jar transportation and organization.

Next version might include a modification to add some sort of slot to drop supports into so you could stack trays without stacking jars.

Anyway – hadn’t seen it before and thought I’d share.
