Squeezed in a reservation before the price increase. Overall, very enjoyable experience that felt ingredient forward and easier to enjoy for the occasional sushi diners vs some of their competitors. I unfortunately didn’t take any photos of the nigiris.
1. Noresore with tempura fried mountain vegetables
2. Crab & crab miso
3. Can’t remember for sure, but I think fried Kinki with wilted spinach
4. Bottarga in mochi (yoshino’s version better)
5 & 6. Chef working…
7. Fugu shirako – highlight of the meal.
Wine list was extensive and sommelier knowledgeable, but a tad overpriced, though still less than Yoshino.
