Hey everyone so I have some extra puff pastry squares and the pic is my inspiration that i’m going for. I’m planning to bake the puff pastry squares as normal on the package with a little egg yolk wash on the top for some extra shine, then once they cool i’ll cut them in half and add a filling. I was thinking to do two parts cream cheese, one part greek yogurt and then vanilla (maybe some almond extract) and powdered sugar as a filling. I feel like it would be really tasty but I want some of your guys thoughts? I know the typically method would be to make whipped cream but I don’t have it on hand and I just wanna make a quick dessert with all the stuff I have available. I’m also planning to add some strawberries as well!! My only concern is that the filling will be too liquidy and make it soggy ://

Not sure you need the Greek yogurt if you’re worried about it being liquidy. How about making a little coulis from some of the pulverised strawberries and drizzling it over the creamy mixture too.
