first time grower-from-seed. my seeds have started to germinate and i have 2 trays full like the first photo.
i’m a little shaky about what comes next: i have a grow light and some seedling containers as shown in the second photo. i started the seeds in some seed starter mix, and i have foxfarm ocean forest for the next phase.
my questions are:
1. WHEN should i start transplanting these little sprouts to the larger seedling containers and put them under a grow light?
2. HOW should i transplant them? should i try to bring the sprout, seed starter and all and put them in a hole in the ocean forest medium? or should i try to take the sprout completely out of the seed starter when i transplant?
3. i put two seeds per hole to increase germination odds. in situations where 2 sprouts occurred, how should i handle?
thanks for the help, i’m at a critical juncture now and don’t want to mess this up 🙂

Those are far too small to move, those trays need to be kept in a warm and light place until the seedlings have sprouted at least two but better still four proper leaves – all they have at the moment are the seed leaves. Where two have germinated, I’d let them both grow on and carefully separate them later when repotting.
The seed leaves look very yellow but will green up with light.
You have at least 2-3 weeks before thinking of repotting to judge by the state of them. Give them light to strengthen them and stop them going spindly, if a grow light, not too close while they get a bit stronger.
