So I've recently been on an avocado kick and wanted to get these Wholly smashed avocado minis. My issue is the calorie count. The package says a 57g serving is 130 calories but several sources on Google says that a 50g serving of avocado is only 80 calories. I really want to get these for the convenience and shelf life but not if they're gonna cost me an extra 50ish calories per serving. Any idea why the calories are so different despite being just avocados? Would it be safe to just log the calories google sources say avocados are and ignore the packaging?

Pretty sure you just found a low calorie count and ran with it.

120-130 cals is consistent with half an avocado, per my Registered Dietician. HALF.

Avocados are high calorie, always have been.

I still make space for 1 of these a day. It brings me joy.

Different avocados have different caloric content.

I wouldn’t base the calories on what a random website says. You should find a database or source that you trust to be accurate to see the calories for produce.

    I use this: https://fdc.nal.usda.gov/index.html
