Where’s the best place to find “ice rice”? It’s a dessert from ChangLe, Fuzhou and my husband and I were obsessed when we lived over there. We’re visiting next month and I’m trying to find a place nearby that has a good version. Preferably Manhattan around Chinatown but willing to go to Flushing/Queens if there aren’t any good options closer!

Did some googling for ice rice+fuzhou+changle and this place has “ice rice” thats looks similar.
[Yelp page 2 – Nuan Xin Rice Roll](https://www.yelp.com/search?find_desc=Ice+Rice&find_loc=Brooklyn%2C+NY&start=10). Nuan Xin Rice Roll also has a location in Manhattan, Chinatown. There are also more results from reviews mentioning ice rice on page 1 from some Chinese skewer places.
There’s a big Fuzhounese population in Manhattan, Chinatown and 8th Ave Brooklyn so you might have more luck there.
Friendship BBQ has it as part of their desserts menu
Taiwan Pork Chop house has something that looks vaguely similar. It’s good.
Jell and Chill and MeetFresh both do similar things. They’re both EV (and I think there are other MeetFresh locations in non-Manhattan Chinatowns also).
