rarely eat out anymore in the city but figure eight blew my mind!!! went for belated bday dinner last night and it scratched a major itch. flavors were crazy it’s worth the cost. if ur even considering going PLS DO. also interested in going back for their tea brunch special…lmk if you’ve tried it pls
what we got:
1. hush puppy waffle with hot honey butter (sweet, salty, mochi-like)
2. breakfast clams with SOURDOUGH YOUTIAO YUM (hearty yet light, nutty, comforting)
3. mapo grits (ANSON MILLS) with eggplant in this fermented chili bean paste (earthy, umami af, warming)
4. fried skate with perfect pickles and flaky biscuit and ranch w herb oil (my fav, would make the south proud)
