Frozen cauliflower sautéed in olive oil from canned sardines. I added the sardines and chopped everything up in the pan, then simmered it all in tomato sauce from the freezer (made from scratch over the summer!). Meanwhile, I cooked some chickpea pasta and dumped it in the sauce about a minute short of the cooking time.

Other than salting the pasta cooking water, there was enough salt in the sardines to season this IMO.

    One of my favorite pasta is a prima Vera. We would start with evoo and garlic than add shallots. Then add peppers, mushrooms, red onions, and cook till veggies are done. Season with salt and pepper to taste ! Simple and healthy, use veggies pasta or anything whole grain.
