Service was excellent. Dining room was electric, felt like Galatoires on Fat Tuesday. Food was pretty good, but all of the dishes had the feeling that they had been sitting under a heat lamp for awhile. Amuse: Asparagus three ways, and one coconut crusted prawn. Bread course: excellent brioche and a garlic-cheese bagel? First: Frog Legs Vol-au-vent with mushrooms. Second: Duck with pawpaw puree dollops (why do they always use so many dollops?), roasted fennel, and a wild rice dish with something of a muted ginger sabayon on top. Third: meringue, strawberries, sherbert. A quasi-rarefied Eton mess. Petit fours: various chocolates, basket of warm madeleines. Wine: Keller Hubacker 2016 GG. Disappointing: No cheese cart service. .

That wild rice dish? Before the strawberry. It looks like maggots to me.
