Was fortunate enough to snag a reservation at both Carbone and Coqodaq recently and ate at both spots. Carbone is worth the hype I think, great salami and bread, oysters and spicy rigatoni were both excellent. Much easier to get a lunch reservation on weekends than dinner. Would definitely go back
Coqodaq is worth trying once, but wouldn’t line up too long for it. Chicken is tender and not overly greasy. Restaurant is quite loud though, made talking very difficult, and the tables are very close to each other.

Oh damn, now I’m craving a meatball at Carbone. That with some Coqodaq sounds like heaven.
