    Americans have just the cheapest frigging beef prices.

    Last week we were paying $8/lb for rib roasts. But they were only on for 3 days, Wed, Thurs, and Saturday. (advertised as a 4 day sale, but darn it weren’t they all closed on good friday). The cheap ones were sold out on thursday morning, and there’s no rain checks.

    This week? $25-$35/lb at least, and the only one in the case is a 5 kg monstrosity that no one is going to pay $290 for.
