They were not chicken bones, they were frozen turkey shells (carcass) leftover from christmas since they dont normally have turkey. There were 3, about $17 each. Maybe i'm cheap but i feel like that's a lot for a product that has no meat on it?

  1. I pay $0.49/lb for chicken carcass here in Kitchener, ON. You can buy whole air chilled chickens for $2.50/lb pretty often. $5 is a total ripoff unless they’re some kind of special fancy type.

You got screwed. Maybe you can make some stock out of them or something but……. Why?

Did the butcher laugh as you left the store?

Aren’t turkeys like .99 cents a pound during Thanksgiving. $5 a pound is a high end turkey.

  5. You paid 5 bucks a pound for bones and ask us if you got ripped off? Are you trolling us?
