    I think it’s safe to say you should slice it, layer it perhaps with some onion or a bit of fig jam, and make a grilled cheese sandwich. If that end edge super hard, slice it off and keep it to throw in a soup you make later.

    The outside crust of some cheese( you see the cheese cloth patern). A picture is not always worth more than words.

  6. Sorry, I thought I posted this last week. It’s a Comté cheese, I found another piece with the name visible on the rind.
