L’Industrie – This is their burrata slice and fig jam with bacon slice. Both were phenomenal and damn, that tomato sauce is good. Probably my favourite slice shop of all time.
Agi’s Counter – This is their confit tuna melt, pogacsa breakfast sandwich and hash brown. We also ordered the devilled eggs. Hands down, the best tuna melt I’ve ever had. I think I just preferred the bread to the one at Golden Diner. Overall, an incredible meal and I definitely want to go back the next time I visit and try their dinner service.
Los Mariscos – This is their fish ceviche and not pictured were their fish tacos. Everything was so fresh and flavourful! I loved the cucumber mint agua fresca.
Birria Landia – Went there last time I was in town 2 years ago and had to go back.
The Four Horsemen – English peas, green garlic butter, mint, creme fraiche. I was blown away the last time I visited back in 2022 for dinner and still really enjoyed my visit this time around for lunch, but was a little less impressed this time.
For All Things Good – This avocado memela was so incredibly fresh. Such a simple dish, but done so well. Their corn tortillas were stunning.
7-8. Rolo’s – Our group loved the burger so much, we had to order a second one. Everything was incredible and their two sheet lasagna is also a must order item!
Apollo Bagels – A very solid bagel, but just a little heavy on the cream cheese.
LaRina – Their agnolotti dish blew me away. I think it might be the best pasta dish I’ve ever had and I’ve eaten a lot of really good pasta. Loved their bagna cauda salad!
NoNoNo – Delicious yakitori and chawanmushi. Not sure if I would go back but am happy I tried it and still enjoyed it.
Radio Bakery – I am still thinking about this sausage and chive focaccia. I also ordered a mushroom pastry which was beautiful. This might be my favourite bakery I’ve ever visited and I love that they had such a good variety of savoury options. Will need to return to try their sandwiches next time!
Golden Diner – Before I tried the tuna melt at Agi’s Counter, this one was the best I’ve ever had (for a few days, haha). The portion was massive and the bread was soooo buttery.
14-15. Leo – My favourite caesar salad and their rigatoni amatriciana. I think I might prefer their pasta to their pizza, but I still really like their pizza.
16-17. Place des Fetes – Definitely one of my top 3 meals on this trip. My favourite dishes were the uni toast with country ham that absolutely blew me away, as well as their razor clam bucatini, which was on special for the night. Every dish had so much care and thought put into it and the service was great!
18-19. Dame – I cannot speak highly enough about my experience here. My favourites were the tuna tartare on toast with bottarga and the squid and scallion skewers, but everything else we ordered was beautiful and so flavourful!
