For my sweet boyfriend’s birthday I offered to make him a cake (I work part time as a bakers assistant so I’m not infinitely knowledgeable but I am ! creative !) he requested: lavender sponge, honey buttercream in-between the layers, topped with a lavender honey glaze, and some fruit (strawberries, raspberries, and peach bits)☺️
it’s the second birthday cake I’ve made for a loved one this year & !! something about the process; planning, grocery gathering, baking, assembling ! MAKES ME BEAUTIFULLY EMOTIONAL 🥹💞
