Coconut cake recipe|Easy Homemade Basbosa Recipe
Basbousa is a sweet, syrup-soaked semolina cake that originated in Egypt. The semolina batter is baked in a sheet pan, then sweetened with orange flower water, rose water or simple syrup, and typically cut into diamond shapes or squares. Wikipedia
INGREDIENTS:
1 Eggs
1 /2 cups Sugar
1/2cup Yogurt
1/2cup oul
1 tbsp Bakin powder
1/2 tbsp Cardamom powder
1/2 cups Desiccated coconut
1/2 cups Semolina flour
Syrup:
2/3 cups Sugar
1 cup Water
1 tbsp Rose water
3 tbsp Fresh lemon juice
Bake at 170’C for 35-40 minutes
