MercyBDark
Depending on people and what they serve themself, 4-8 if I have it with rice

It is so expensive, the same one is about 200 jpy when sale time.
Serious_Swordfish_83
I usually use one whole pack and get around 5 qts of curry.
TheLastSamurott
Big pot that serves 6 adults and maybe have leftovers would require 4 cubes.

I use the entire packet in a big pot. So maybe a couple lbs of chicken, a few potatoes and carrots, an onion or two depending on the size, a large can of crushed tomatoes, an entire box of curry cubes, and chicken stock to bring up the volume.
Tribbs_4434
I find this makes up an entire big frypans worth with loads of sauce (you can make it thinner if you need to extend the curry sauce) can feed 4+ people easily (sizable meal with some rice) with leftovers. Particularly if you really bulk it out with potatoes, carrots and whatever other veggies you enjoy alongside the protein (or just go veg only, the world is your oyster).
If you have a slow cooker you can also very easily use that, great end result for the protein.

I find these roux cubes to be a tad salty, so I usually use more liquid than recommended. I also like my sauce a bit runnier, so I get min 6 servings with rice.
I would taste as you go, and adjust the liquid to your level of preferred salt.
UnNumbFool
I usually use 4 cubes at once, but I also essentially used it as a batch meal and get lunch and dinner out of it for roughly a week
MeowFood
I use half the pack (4 cubes) to 1-1.5lb of meat and whatever veggies I have on hand. It usually nets 5 servings.
SuperKrusher
If I recall these comes with 8 cubes (not sure why others are saying 4. It’s usually 2 sets of 4 per pack no?)
I have seen recipes that call for 2 servings per cube. That being said, I personally use one cube per serving. So you would have 8 servings then.
KuraiTsuki
I think we usually get closer to 8-10 servings but we also put more than the recommended amount of meat and veggies in, so our curry is usually very chunky which spreads the sauce further.
techm00
6-8. I’d use about half the pack for a single batch of curry and that’s good for up to 4 servings with rice, I’d say
piirtoeri
Is that the concentrate or sauce packet?
Odd_Assistance_1613
It should list the number of servings on the back of the package, I believe it lists 5 servings and I would say that’s accurate. So 4-6 depending on your appetite and how much you add to it.
coversbyrichard
Each box has 2 packs. Each pack is separated into 4 squares. Each square is technically one serving.
So 8 servings really. But one does not simply eat ONE serving.
orangefreshy
Usually about 6, maybe like 6 dinner portion and 2 lunch or side type (like for omurice or something) portion
ETA; you definitely can stretch it if you like it a bit thinner or really load with veggies
maxru85
Every time I used the whole pack, it was a week’s worth of food for one person (if consumed with rice)
Coelit
My fiance and I use all of it (6-8) to a cup of rice while adding chicken, a potato and carrots.
Have uhh… we been adding too much?

Two cubes for meal of three
PortlandQuadCopter
It tells you right on the front: 12 servings per entire package, or 6 servings if you divide the whole package in two.
spookyfrogo
4-5 servings but I cook for one

€6.98 is crazy 😭
samurguybri
I always add more chicken. thigh meat, S&W Curry Powder and shot of soy sauce and one or two cups of water. So, four big ol servings.
EnchantedGlass
The package I have says 12 servings for the whole box. I usually cook half a box at a time and get dinner for three adults and two small children plus lunch the next day for one or two people. I’d say 12 meals worth of food isn’t far off if you are generous with the vegetables when you make it and serve with plenty of rice.
pro_questions
My SO and I probably get 3 dinners (6 meals) out of one. We prepare this as directed and use 1 onion, a bunch of baby potatoes, a 7-bone chuck, and carrots, then serve with white rice. Those 6 meals are *large* servings, so you could probably get even more if you ate a normal portion
Stunning_salty
Two! For dinner for two adults.

I use a whole pack for a 5qt soup pot. It’s going to depend on how thick you like your curry
rodeoing101
2 of the cubes for two people. That’s 1/4 of the total. I use two carrots cut into 4-6 pieces each, two potato’s cut into four pieces each and half a large onion sliced thick and a half pound or more of stew meat. I brown the meat with a light oil in a large 8” saucepan , then add the onions, then carrots and potatoes then add water to cover the ingredients. Sometimes I add pepper but it isn’t necessary. Bring to a boil then reduce heat, occasionally removing any foamy “scum”. After 20 minutes (test the carrots and if sufficiently cooked), take two of the curry roux cubes and dissolve in a small amount of warm (not boiling) water by breaking it apart with a spoon or fork. I dissolve it before adding to the pot because it won’t achieve the proper uniform distribution if you just throw the cubes into the cooked meat/veggie mix. Then slowly stir so you don’t break up the potatoes. Let it sit for a few minutes for the roux to achieve consistency (then cook more for thicker or add additional water if needed for thinner consistency). Put the remainder of the Roux cubes in a plastic bag and refrigerate. You can’t freeze the curry with the potatoes but if you don’t use potatoes you can freeze leftovers. Serve next to a bed of rice with the red pickles (Fukujinzuke).

I used half the box yesterday (4 cubes), I fed 4 people with rice and I still have about half the batch of curry leftover. So technically in my case I can make 2 batches with one box and get 16 servings.
Instructions say to use one box for the same amount of meat/veggies I used though, we just like it better with half the pack.
fsfaith
Pack says 5 but I usually use it for 2-3. I like curry so I do eat more of it than most.
