Bom was amazing. Start to finish, every dish was spectacular. Technically sound while making sure that everything was delicious. And the wine pairing was the most fun and enjoyable wine pairing I can remember – you can tell they really worked hard on it.
Also, for context… My wife and I were massively disappointed by Atomix back in December. Everything was beautiful, but nothing tasted all that special and the vibes were kind of weird, with mostly impersonal staff, everyone eating quietly and no background music. My wife called it "a food funeral".. Here at Bom, in addition to the food and drink being awesome, the vibes were great. Good music bumping, super engaging staff, people having a great time, and exactly the right decibel level.
Sorry I didn't take many pictures, I don't like to be on my phone at restaurants. The only photo I took was of the little music box, playing happy birthday, that they brought to my wife between dessert courses which was suchhh a charming, classy way to say happy birthday.
I'd be shocked if Bom doesn't end up with 2 michelin stars next year. Also Chef Brian Kim's other restaurant, Oiji Mi, which you walk thru to get to Bom, is great if you haven't been.

I love Bom and I also had a disappointing fourth visit to Atomix earlier this year and I likely won’t go back (and certainly won’t go back on my own dime)!
So glad you had a good time!
Went to bom when it first opened. Great meal taste wise. Value could have been better, imo but it is nyc, so I guess it’s cool
Born and bred in seoul was 100 X better with way more food for a bit cheaper
Glad you enjoyed yourself
