I’m sorry for being mia but here is my day 3 in NYC. I know it’s a lot of eating but I shared it with my friends.

You need to hit up Stick With Me, Lysee, and Patisserie Fouet for sweets/dessert. 9/10 at a minimum! That’s right, I’m that confident. Oh and whoever recommended you these bakeries did ya dirty.

I’m happy people come spend money in our city, but why all the gimmicky tourist traps? It’s like visiting Chicago and eating a dog and deep dish only or LA for in n out and a trendy taco. I don’t get it. M sushi is the only “normal” place in this slideshow.

Let this be the new format, don’t even need the ratings but the labels are clutch.

I went to Somedays this past weekend and I thought the Pan Suisse was super good. The Prosciutto lattice was just OK but damn it’s like $8 for pastry’s now, crazy

2 hour wait for halal food…? No halal cart is worth that kind of wait.
CuteWolves
I really find it insane that people wait 2h for Adel’s when there are so many carts with no wait that taste the same if not better.

Can’t believe you didn’t love the seven grams cookies 😩

Where’s the corn cookie from?

I want to try that Pistachio cookie, sounds like a good combo.😍

I couldn’t imagine waiting hours for cart food, are people losing their minds?! Oh wait, they are.
Almost all of the carts get the same processed chopped meat and even use the same commissary. But if I had to choose (and no carts, I don’t eat from a spot where fresh water cannot be produced,) I’d go to any Sammy’s Halal, or Halal N Out in Willy B.

I just looked at your days 1-2 as well: How is your digestive system doing so far?!

Next time, don’t go to Ichiran for ramen. It’s a Japanese chain and it’s *ok* but nothing to write home about. Tonchin is much better (or Raku if you’re an udon freak like me haha)

Wait. You went all the way to Astoria to try a bakery that’s like a month old? There’s so much else out that way in Queens!

What’s #12? What’s the white stuff on the tuna? Looks amazing

Not As Bitter is great. I think they just opened up like a month or so ago and are right near me so I’ve been hitting it up pretty consistently.
Abraco is right near there as well, great espresso. Definitely should try if you are in the area again and like espresso based drinks (I get the sparkling espresso cream, super unique and refreshing).
