They turned out soft, chewy, a tad crispy, and SO. DAMN. GOOD. I ended up using 2 other recipes before I made this one, and those two were okay but these… these are the winners.

I used [this](https://handletheheat.com/brown-butter-chocolate-chip-cookies/) recipe from handletheheat. I ended up using salted butter instead of unsalted, so I only did half the amount of salt. I also used milk chocolate chips and semi-sweet bakers chocolate roughly chopped into chunks as my add-ins. I used the provided portion directions and used 1 and half tablespoons of dough per cookie, and I baked them for 12 minutes. There’s a 24 hour cooling period for the raw dough, but I said fuck it at 18 hours and went ahead and they still turned out phenomenally.

I noticed that before I put the dough in the fridge, it was slightly drier than the one in the recipe video on the website. I had to leave mine on the counter for about an hour and a half before it was good to be shaped into balls. My cookies didn’t spread as much as the recipe images either, but I’m happy about that because the texture is perfect. Honestly, the recipe is a little more involved than other chocolate chip recipes, but I think it’s absolutely worth it in the end! Gotta give these a 10/10

It does look really good! Cookies are simple to make, but actually hard to perfect. The thing is, based on experience, if it tastes amazing, people at your work will most probably ask you to make them again haha.
